I have been working for the clinic since 2004. For a number of years I have been a receptionist at various Clinical/Optical practises. This career suits my personality as I have a caring and easy going nature. I enjoy meeting and greeting patients and making them feel welcome and at ease.

I am married with 2 daughters still living at home along with my husband, 2 cats and 1 dog!! My hobbies and interests are, swimming, ten pin bowling, travelling, and for relaxation I like to read a good book or watch old black and white movies.

I have been a receptionist at the clinic since January 2013 and I have enjoyed every day. I enjoy meeting new people and talking with them as everyone has a story to tell and I like hearing them. I am an American married to a British citizen and have been in the UK since 2011.  We have 4 cats named Elektra, Slippers, Penguin, Slugbug and 1 dog named Rex.

Before coming here I worked for the last 14 years  in a very busy animal shelter as the foster care and breed rescue coordinator. As a teenager I volunteered at my local hospital where I would spend time with patients helping in anyway I could.  I enjoy reading, walks, exploring and enjoying life and of course I have a passion for animals.  I have a son named Stephen who is 23 years of age and lives in our hometown of Des Moines, Iowa.
